The NAIT Bookstore is owned and
operated by the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Our mandate is to
provide a convenient source of learning resource materials in support of NAIT's
academic goals. Additionally, we retail a wide variety of campus and convenience
products. We welcome your questions and comments.

Refund Policy
We will give refunds on the return of most items that are in resaleable and unopened condition, and are accompanied by an original receipt within three weeks of purchase, and with appropriate photo identification. Students must present their student ID card; non-students must present valid government-issued photo ID.
Refunds will not be given for software, red-tag items, special orders, confectionery, food items, bus passes, lottery and other tickets, gift and food services cards, graduation gowns, shrink-wrapped or sealed items that have been opened, textbooks that were purchased within one month of the official completion of the relevant NAIT course or program. Replacement, repair or warranty assistance for defective items is at our discretion but they must be accompanied by the original receipt, packaging and manuals.
Textbooks, Coursepacks and ILMS that are returned due to withdrawals must be returned in resaleable and unopened condition accompanied by the withdrawal form, within 21 days of withdrawal, and within 31 days of purchase.
All refunds will be credited in the same form and to the same payment card was originally used for the purchase, if applicable. Items purchased by cheque cannot be refunded until 15 business days after purchase.
Any refund may be refused or be subject to restocking charges, at our discretion.
ETS Transit Passes & Tickets
To purchase ETS Transit Passes or Tickets the following criteria must be met:
- Valid, current NAIT student ID must be presented
- You must be enrolled in 192 hours of classes (12 hours/week) for an entire semester (apprentive or continuing education).
- A copy of your timetable must be shown at time of purchase. Visit the NAIT Student Portal to print out a copy of your timetable. Please ensure your name, student ID, along with class start & end dates are showing on the timetable.
